Preshrunk process / laundromat machines

Preshrunk

VERIFIED

Preshrunk finishing reduces post-wash shrinkage so your fit stays consistent — especially critical on heavyweight builds.

FIT: STABLE SHRINK: LOW CARE: COLD

Tech Card — Preshrunk

Fabric is treated or stabilized so the first wash doesn’t aggressively change measurements. You get repeatable sizing and better long-term fit accuracy.

Anti-Color Fading

QA

Treatments that help dyes stay richer for longer — reducing wash fade and keeping blacks/deeps cleaner over time.

FADE: LOW COLOR: LOCK CARE: MILD

Tech Card — Anti-Color Fading

Color retention is improved through better dyeing/finishing and correct curing. The goal: less dulling, less bleeding, and cleaner tone across seasons.

Anti-Piling

VERIFIED

Anti-pilling finishing helps the surface stay cleaner after friction — keeping garments looking premium for longer.

SURFACE: CLEAN PILL: LOW CARE: LOW FRICTION

Tech Card — Anti-Piling

Achieved via yarn choice, tight face stability, and finishing. It reduces loose fibers from rolling into pills, so the piece stays cleaner.

QA

Finishes and fiber choices that help reduce odour retention — so garments stay fresher between washes (without heavy fragrance).

ODOUR: LOW AIR: FLOW CARE: DRY OUT

Tech Card — Odourless

Odour control is improved by keeping moisture and bacteria build-up low. Proper drying and ventilation are part of the system.

CARE GUIDE

CARE: ACTIVE
  • Wash inside-out on cold / gentle cycle.
  • Avoid harsh bleach and aggressive spin cycles.
  • Air dry when possible. If using dryer, low heat only.
  • Do not overload the machine — friction increases pilling over time.
  • Never iron directly on prints or patches.
  • Keep hardware closed during wash to reduce snagging.
  • Use mild detergent — avoid heavy softeners.
  • Hang dry to maintain edge sharpness and prevent cracking.
  • Brush gently in one direction to keep the surface clean.
  • Spot clean with damp cloth. Avoid soaking.
  • Store on a structured hanger (or folded) to maintain shape.
  • Let it air out between wears. Avoid high heat.
  • Wipe with a dry microfiber cloth after wear.
  • Use a light conditioner occasionally — avoid heavy oils.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight when storing.
  • If wet: air dry naturally (never use a heater).
  • Avoid harsh detergents and heavy fabric softeners.
  • Wash cold / gentle; rinse properly.
  • Air dry or low heat only (high heat can weaken coatings).
  • Do not aggressively scrub coated surfaces.

GLOSSARY

GLOSS: ACTIVE
GSM = grams per square meter. Higher GSM usually means more weight, more structure, and often better durability — but also warmer and heavier on-body.
Print hold is the fabric’s ability to keep prints crisp without cracking, bleeding, or fading — influenced by face stability, yarn quality, and correct curing.
Pilling happens when loose fibers roll into small fuzz balls due to friction (wash, wear, rubbing). Anti-pilling finishing and gentle washing reduce it.
Preshrunk means the fabric is stabilized to reduce post-wash shrink. It improves sizing consistency and helps your piece keep its intended fit.

FAQ

FAQ: ACTIVE
We use heavier fabrics where structure matters: better drape, better durability, better recovery, and a premium feel that holds up over time.
Want maximum structure? Go 600GSM terry. Need outer warmth + sharp silhouette? Melton wool. Want premium trims with collector feel? Genuine leather.
Follow the care guide (cold, gentle, low heat). Preshrunk finishing reduces shrink risk, but harsh heat and over-drying can still change measurements.
Wash inside-out in cold water, use mild detergent, avoid heavy softeners, and skip high heat. That keeps deep tones cleaner for longer.
